Chief Justice participated in APEC Workshop held in Bangkok

The Chief Justice and the High-Level Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) of Peru, Duberlí Rodríguez Tineo, participated in the APEC Training Workshop on Asset Recovery, held in Bangkok from March 20 to 22.
On Wednesday 20, during the opening session, Dr. Rodríguez referred to the challenges that the world, Latin American region and Peru are facing regarding the serious phenomenon of corruption, and he stressed the necessity to strengthen international cooperation in the face of this calamity.
Meanwhile, on Thursday 21 and Friday 22, he participated in the sessions and other work activities, which covered several topics, among them the recovery of assets derived from acts of corruption which is a central aspect of the fight against this crime.
