The Peruvian musical group "APU INKA" is already in Bangkok on the occasion of the celebrations for our National Day. This morning, the group participated in a workshop with Thai musicians at the College of Music of Mahidol University, one of the most prestigious in this region. For more than two hours, the four members of "APU INKA" interacted and exchanged knowledge about the execution of the most traditional musical instruments of our country such as quena, zampoña, charango and Peruvian cajón.

They also had the opportunity to do a practical class with the music students of the Mahidol University, where they taught how to perform the zampoña, after that they gave, on behalf of Peru, three varieties of this instrument for the collection of said college. This important workshop fulfills our objective of promoting direct contacts between our citizens ("people to people") through a very rich musical cultural exchange. Also, the aforementioned Peruvian musical group had the opportunity to promote the different rhythms that are part of the cultural knowledge of our country in a concert that brought together more than 150 attendees, including students from the aforementioned school and the general public.
