Latin American Night at Mahidol University

On August 17 and 18, 2018, the Latin American Embassies accredited in Thailand (Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Mexico, Panama and Peru) held the "Latin American Night" at the Prince Mahidol Hall, Mahidol University.

The event was attended by the Colombian soprano Betty Garcés, who was accompanied by the Philharmonic Orchestra of Thailand under the direction of the Italian Chief Conductor, Alfonso Scarano.

"Latin American Night" is a cultural-musical event that has been held for several years with the prestigious Mahidol University. On this occasion, the Philharmonic Orchestra of Thailand performed the most emblematic musical themes of Latin American folklore, included "El Cóndor Pasa" by the Peruvian composer Daniel Alomia Robles. Also, in the main hall of the auditorium, all the embassies organized an information table for the promotion of their respective countries. At the reception, Peru offered "Pisco Sour" for the enjoyment of the attendees.
