Young Peruvian Muaythai World Champion visited the Embassy

Peruvian youth Arena Castro Buscaglia, Muaythai World Youth Champion, visited the Embassy of Peru in Thailand on August 31, before returning to Peru. On August 10, she won the gold medal, category Junior 16-17 Female, +75 kg, at the “2018 IFMA Youth World Championships”.

This year, IFMA Youth World Championships took place from August 2 to 10, 2018 at the National Stadium in Bangkok, and was organized by the IFMA (International Amateur Muaythai Federation), in collaboration with the Department of Physical Education of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of Thailand. Six Peruvian athletes participated and, besides the gold medal obtained by Arena Castro, Peru also won the bronze medal, category Junior 14-15 Female, -45 kg, through young athlete Tatiana Mora.
