Workshop and Concert of Peruvian Clarinetist Marco Antonio Mazzini in Bangkok

Between the 1st and 5th of October 2018, the Peruvian clarinetist Marco Antonio Mazzini, professor at the School of Music of the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP), led the workshop "Thailand Clarinet Academy 2018". On Saturday 6th October, he directed a concert "Clarinet Choir Concert" with the participants of the aforementioned workshop.
The participation of the Peruvian clarinetist takes place for the second year in a row, by the invitation received from the School of Music of the Rajabhat Bansomdejchopraya University in Bangkok. About 50 students from Thailand, China and Singapore participated in the workshop. The audience was made up of students and Thai public, who were able to enjoy contemporary international themes as well as several Peruvian themes representative of Peruvian folklore.
The Embassy of Peru offered a welcome cocktail for the attendees in which Pisco Sour, "Chicha Morada", Mushroom Ceviche, Quinoa Salad, Huancaína Potatoes, "Ají de Gallina", "Arroz con Leche" and "Mazamorra Morada" were served.
