Pacific Alliance Seminar on Trade and Investment Opportunities

On Wednesday November 21, the Embassies and Trade Advisors of the four countries of the Pacific Alliance (PA) held in Bangkok an Investment and Business Promotion Seminar with the participation of around 100 businessmen and representatives of Thai Trade Unions.
At the opening ceremony of the "Seminar on Trade and Investment Opportunities with the Pacific Alliance", the Ambassador of Peru, on behalf of the four countries, the Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce of Thailand and a representative of the consulting firm Ernst & Young Thailand, addressed opening remarks. In the second part of the event, the four commercial advisors presented various aspects of the PA and, in the third part; three companies (Peruvian AJETHAI, Chilean Magotteaux and Thai Oil Company PTTEP) shared reflections on their respective experiences in doing business and investing in PA countries and in Thailand.
The Ambassador of Peru highlighted the multiple business and investment opportunities that exist between the PA and the ASEAN countries, as well as the latest advances and commitments agreed between the two regional integration groups.
