The Embassy of Peru in Thailand started a series of events to promote pisco and Peruvian gastronomy in Bangkok, with the support of Peruvian chef Jaime Arbulú, contracted by MINCETUR (OCEX Jakarta).

The week of pisco and gastronomy was inaugurated on Friday, May 31 at the "51 Tasty Moments Bar" with a workshop dedicated to Thai bartenders in which Pisco, the Peruvian brandy was presented as well as its variants with different types of Pisco making grapes and different cocktails were prepared, such as pisco sour, chilcano, algarrobina cocktail, among others, using also ingredients of good local acceptance, such as chili and lemongrass. These workshops continued on June 1 and 2, in the Latin bars "Osito" and "Havana Social", under the auspices of the liquor importer “Comte de Sibour.”

Between June 5 and 8, Chef Arbulú will present "Biodiversity", a special menu with emblematic dishes of Peruvian cuisine at the renowned “The Athenee Hotel Bangkok”, where you can also taste pisco-based cocktails, imported by Brand Connect.
