New Ambassador of Thailand in Peru presented copy of his credential letters

On February 7, 2020, Ambassador Sorayut Chasombat, Ambassador-Designate of the Kingdom of Thailand in Peru, presented a copy of the Credential Letters that accredit him as such, to Ambassador Gustavo Meza-Cuadra, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Peru, at Torre Tagle Palace in Lima. 

In their ensued friendly discussion, they highlighted the excellent level of the bilateral relations between the two countries and recalled that during 2020 the 55th anniversary of diplomatic relations establishment between Thailand and Peru will be commemorated, and, in 2021, the Bicentennial of the Independence of Peru.

They also reaffirmed their compromise to continue strengthening the bilateral relations between both countries through joint activities that include high-level visits, increasing of South-South cooperation, trade, investment, and tourism, as well as promoting cultural exchanges and “People-to-People” contacts.
