Embassy of Peru in Thailand opened book of condolence for Ambassador Javier Pérez de Cuéllar

From Monday, 9 to Wednesday, 11 March, the Embassy of Peru in Thailand opened the book of condolence in memory of the life and work of Ambassador Javier Peréz de Cuéllar, former Secretary-General of the United Nations )1982-1991), former Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs (2000-2001), who passed away in Lima March 4, 2020, at the age of 100.
Among those who came to express their regrets and solidarity were 56 high-ranking Thai officers and head of diplomatic missions in Bangkok, including the President of the National Assembly and former Prime Minister of Thailand, Mr. Chuan Leekpai, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Mr. Vijavat Isarabhakdi, and the Executive Secretary of UNESCAP, Mrs. Armida Salsiah Alisjahbana.
