“El Largo Camino de Castilla” Book Presentation in Asia and Oceania

The presentation for Asia and Oceania of the historical novel "El largo camino de Castilla", written by the Peruvian author, Eduardo González Viaña, and edited by César Vallejo University, took place this morning via videoconference. Co-ordinated by the Embassy of Peru in Australia, the 11 Ambassadors of Peru in Asia and Oceania (Australia, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam) made brief comments on the book and noted the importance of Marshal Ramón Castilla in the republican history of Peru, especially in its foreign policy.
The event was inaugurated by Dr. Beatriz Merino Lucero, Executive President of César Vallejo University, with the participation of the Peruvian literary critic, José Antonio Mazzotti, professor at Tufts University in the United States, and of the author of the novel, Dr. Eduardo González Viaña, professor at Western Oregon University in the United States. The event was moderated by Mr. Vicente Sánchez.
