"Tourism Doing Business - Investing in Peru" is a guide elaborated by the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (MINCETUR), the Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean (CAF) and UN Tourism, which aims to inform potential foreign investors about the conditions that make Peru an attractive option for investing in infrastructure in the tourism sector.

This new publication provides important updated information on Peru as an attractive option for investing in the tourism sector, with summaries on corporate taxes and specific benefits for tourism investments in the country, the flow of foreign investment and the future growth prospects of the national economic outlook, among others. Likewise, the guide contains information that promotes Peru as one of the most stable countries in Latin America in terms of investments; as well as showing the remarkable track record in macroeconomic management that allows Peru to be the second country with the best credit rating in the region and one of the most solvent in Latin America in its fiscal accounts.

Peru offers multiple incentives to attract investments in the tourism sector. With an unparalleled historical, cultural and natural wealth, spanning coastal, mountain and jungle destinations, Peru is home to 13 UNESCO World Heritage Sites, underlining its immense potential to attract investment. Likewise, Peruvian cuisine, internationally recognized for its unique fusion of flavors and cultures, adds an additional attraction for visitors and offers significant opportunities for investors. It is worth noting that, according to statements by the Regional Director of UN Tourism for the Americas, this is the only Guide of its kind that contains a chapter referring to the gastronomic sector.
