Check information on the 2025 National Censuses

The 2025 National Censuses are conducted between the months of August to October of the current year, at national level.

Is a census by Law or De Jure, it means, persons will be registered in the household or place where they permanently or usually live, which is known as habitual residents, for this reason it will not be necessary immobilize the population. In addition, there are considered persons that can be temporarily absent, independently of the place in which they are at the moment of the census.

The information will be provided by the Qualified Informant, elected between the members of the household, this person must be over 18 years of age, must permanently live in the household and must know the data of each one of the members of the household to be able to answer the Census officer.

The census form is a questionnaire that will be use during the census to collect information of the population, housing and Indigenous Communities, it has 67 questions divided in 5 sections.
