Check crime rate and citizen security in Peru
If you need statistical information about homicides, thefts, femicide rate, human trafficking, asset laundering and other criminal offences, throughout Peru, you may access the Integrated System of Criminality and Citizen Security of the National Institute of Statistics and Informatics – INEI.
This system has information collected through their census and surveys, as well as the data provided by the institutions that are part of the Inter-Institutional Statistical Committee on Criminality (CEIC) and other entities linked to the subject.

Before initiate, you must know:
When you enter the system, you may visualize three user options:
Citizens, researchers and authorities. Choose one user and select the criminal act. The system will show the statistics for each zone. When you select one zone, you will see the information about some subject in particular, make click in the tab “complaints or crimes” and select your research.
If you need to register some criminal act, select the tab “Share a criminal. Act that affected your security”, register your data, the type of crime, the date and the place where the fact took place. The, make a click in the option “Send”.
