INEI: Call Center of the 2025 Censuses attended more than 34 thousand calls of the population between August and October

The National Institute of Statistics and Informatics (INEI) informed that since the beginning of the 2025 National Censuses in August till this date, it had been received a total of 34 thousand 016 calls coming from across the country, which had been attended by an equipment of telephone operators duly trained, available from Monday to Sunday from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 p. m.


The chief of the INEI, Gaspar Morán Flores, stated that the objective of the call center is to attend the queries about the census process and to promote the participation of the citizens with trust and security.


In this sense, he added that in August, the first month of the censuses, there were received 13,313 calls; in September, 10,641; and, so far this October, 10,062.


The chief of the INEI stressed that the most frequent queries were related to the visit schedules of the census officers, the verification of their identity, general information about the census process, queries about the census form, and the calls of personnel, among other subjects linked to the 2025 Census.


From the Call Center – that has operators, besides the computer programming personnel -, Morán Flores encourage the persons that have not yet being census registered to receive the census officers and give the information asked with trust.


“The information the population provide us is valuable for the country, since it Will allow to design public policies oriented to improve the living conditions of the population”, he stressed.


Less than 10 days before the culmination of the 2025 Censuses, the chief of the INEI reminded that the citizens can communicate with the call center to the following numbers (01) 743-5331 and 0800-70225 before any query or coordination.


More than 13 million 280 thousand households census registered at national level
Few days before finishing the 2025 National Censuses, Gaspar Morán Flores informed that it had been already census registered 13 million 280 thousand 782 households across the country, which represents the 95.5% of the total programmed (13 million 902 thousand 909 households).
