Frequently asked questions:
Do Singapore passport holders need a visa to go to Peru as tourists?
No. Singapore passport holders do not need a visa to go to Peru as tourists. The passport must have a minimum of 6 months validity from the date of entry to Peru. Singapore tourists can stay up to 90 days in Peru without a visa.
Do Singapore passport holders need a visa to go to Peru for business purposes?
Yes. Singapore passport holders who intend to travel to Peru for business purposes (for example signing contracts or engaging in remunerated activities) are not exempted of applying for a Business Visa.

If I am not residing in Singapore, can I apply for a visa at the Embassy of Peru in Singapore?
Nationals from countries that need a visa to enter Peru (see link in c.), and who are not residents in Singapore, need to apply for the visa in their respective countries, or, in a designated country where there is a Consulate or Embassy of Peru as follows:
For Myanmar, Laos and the Philippines passport holders: kindly apply in Thailand.
For Cambodia passport holders - kindly apply in Malaysia.
For Pakistan passport holders –kindly apply in China
For Nepal and Sri-Lanka passport holders – kindly apply in India.
For Iranian passport holders – kindly apply in Egypt.
When are Chinese and Indian passport holders exempted from applying to a Peruvian tourist or business visa?
Chinese and Indian passport holders do not need to apply for a tourist or business visa if they have any of the following visas:
i) A visa from the United States, or Canada, or Australia, or the United Kingdom or any state that belongs to the Schengen Area. (The visa must have minimum six-month validity)
ii) A permanent residence in the United States, or Canada, or Australia, or the United Kingdom or any state that belongs to the Schengen Area.
The maximum number of days for staying in Peru under any of the above two conditions is 180 days, during a period of six months for Chinese passport holders, and one year for Indian passport holders.
Requirements for Tourist and Business visa.
Requirements for Tourist visa applicants:
1. Copy of Singapore IC (FIN/NRIC)
2. Valid passport (at least six months beyond your intended period of stay in Peru)
3. Two (2) Visa Application Forms fully filled in and signed.
4. Two (2) colour photographs (passport size, white background)
5. Return ticket or reservation stating dates of arrival and departure to and from Peru.
6. A fee of S$45 (exact amount, cash only)
7. Hotel reservation in Peru.
8. Proof of solvency (last 2 months bank statement)
9. For the application procedure, see number 3) below.
10. If you are a student, please provide a letter from your school confirming your studies. If you are working, please provide a letter from your employer confirming your employment status. Please make sure that the letter includes your full name and passport number.
Requirements for Business visa applicants:
1. Copy of Singapore IC (FIN/NRIC)
2. Valid passport (at least six months beyond your intended period of stay in Peru).
3. Two (2) Visa Application Forms fully filled in and signed.
4. Two (2) colour photographs (passport size, white background).
5. Return ticket or reservation stating dates of arrival and departure to and from Peru.
6. Proof of solvency (last 2 months bank statement)
7. A fee of S$45 (exact amount, cash only)
8. Hotel reservation in Peru.
9. Your company letter of guarantee
10. If your trip is related to Peruvian counterpart, a letter from such a Peruvian company.

3) Visa application procedure
i) Check the requirements for the visa you are applying for.
ii) Send a copy of the required documentation. (Please include an electronic photo passport size, white background) to the following email: consular@embassyperu.org.sg
iii) The consular officer will set a date and time to interview the applicant. The interview is personal.
iv) The visa-issuing procedure takes 3 working days.
